Simple Everyday Look

When I wear makeup, I try to wear the least bit possible. Skin is way more important than covering up what you have with makeup (which can sometimes break you out even more). But when I do wear makeup, I have a trustee few products that I swear and live by. To start my look, I always prep my face by washing and moisturizing it (Glossier or Eve Lom cleanser, Dr.Colbert Illumi Oil and Glossier Priming Moisturizer) so that I start off with a clean slate. Then, I apply the most important part of the look- sunscreen (from Shiseido). I can't fathom enough how important sunscreen is in our everyday lives, and no matter where you live, whether it is sunny or cloudy, it is vital that we wear sunscreen everyday to protect our largest organ. After sunscreen I apply a tinted moisturizer (Laura Mercier Oil Free Tinted Moisturizer) with a BeautyBlender to cover up any blemishes or discoloration. I really love this tinted moisturizer because its buildable and also keeps my face feeling moisturized all day long. Then I apply a liquid highlighter (Estee Lauder's Double Wear Brush On Glow) on my cheekbones, cupid's bow, down my nose and under my eyebrows, I blend that in by using my ring finger. I then use a brow mascara gel (Glossier Brow Boy in blonde) to tame my bushy brows and give them some shape. After I left the gel dry, I curl my lashes and apply 2 coats of mascara (Estee Lauder's Sumptuous Knockout mascara). To finish off the look, I apply a thin coat of lip balm (Glossier Balm Dotcom) and a swipe of my all-time favorite lip color (Clinique Chubby Stick Intense in Broadest Berry).
